Pleasure-filled and variety-packed hiking routes await on the Kitzsteinhorn and on the Maiskogel. On the MK Maiskogelbahn you hover direct from Kaprun up to the starting point for lots of tours and circular hiking paths. The ‘Hüttenrunde’ links the traditional inns and taverns on the Maiskogel, creating an easy and leisurely circular hike for all the family and providing the temptation to enjoy a cosy stop-off and enjoy some local specialities. The Kitzsteinhorn provides a variety-packed, in part, challenging hiking terrain. At times gently climbing paths above lush green terrain with a vibrant selection of flowers, at others, a high Alpine rocky landscape with karst rises. The cable cars take you speedily and conveniently to the respective starting points for the hiking routes.
